Naoto Shirogane is on the case! While investigating a seemingly abandoned warehouse, she is distracted by a puddle of odd ooze on the floor. Before she can react, she's been seized by the tongue of a hungry barnacle! She is reeled upwards, lifting her right out of her shoes, which leaves her feet bare as she kicks for her life!

We see Naoto's bare feet disappear, twitching desperately as she's reeled upwards to her doom. Once fully consumed, there is a long view of Naoto, now nude inside of the stomach chamber. Stomach acid begins to fill the chamber as she screams for her life, realizing what is about to transpire.

With some final crunching and squelching noises, Naoto's body has been digested. Bones and sinew are vomited out from the Barnacle's maw, leaving only her hat intact among a pile of bones...
